I believe I suffered harm as a result of what I consider to be negligent medical treatment I received in Malta, and I’m considering pursuing a legal claim. I want to understand, generally, what I would actually need to demonstrate for a medical negligence claim like this to succeed.
I’m entitled to inherit a share of a relative’s estate in Malta, but the estate actually includes significant debts along with the assets, and I’m seriously considering whether it would be better to simply not accept the inheritance at all rather than take on potential liability. Is renouncing an inheritance actually possible under Maltese law?

Timeshare company in Malta won’t let me exit despite the cooling-off period 1 answer

I’m considering pursuing a commercial dispute in Malta either through arbitration or the ordinary courts, and cost is a significant factor for me given the amount involved isn’t huge. I keep hearing arbitration is faster but I’m not sure if it’s actually cheaper for a relatively modest-value dispute.
Is a dentist in Malta held to the same standard of care as a medical doctor? 1 answer
1 answerI had a dental procedure in Malta that I believe went badly wrong, causing lasting problems. I want to understand whether dentists are actually held to a similarly serious legal standard as medical doctors when something goes wrong, or whether dental treatment is regulated more loosely.
